Thanks to Helen at Helen’s Closet, I’m inspired to get myself organized, so I created a Trello account. I’ve never used it before, but so far, it seems to really be helpful. Helen and Caroline have discussed Trello a few times on the Love to Sew Podcast, so I hunted down Helen’s blog post about how she uses it to organize herself.
So far, all I’ve got done is my indie pattern stash (which does not include any of Helen’s patterns yet, but I really want to make a Blackwood and a Suki), and I think it will be really helpful in keeping me organized and accountable. I tagged them with what is currently in my stash, as well as if I’ve already sewn the pattern. It’ll be helpful for when I’m shopping for fabric, since I’ve attached links to the patterns in my cards, as well as photos.
I am using it as a wish list too, so I have included things that I want to sew.
If you want to see which indie patterns I have in my stash, you can view it here. I’ll be going through my paper patterns soon, and will add those as well.
